Anyone who knows me knows me I am a proud born and raised Jersey Girl. I started this blog about New Jersey in an effort to combat the negative views created by those ridiculous television shows Jersey Shore and Real Housewives of New Jersey. I want to make sure everyone knows how great this state is!

This Is My New Jersey 
I’ve been celebrating family for 28 years with a yearly Family Reunion. Most of us are from the Monmouth and Ocean County area. I was just wondering if you could refer a nice park for my upcoming 29th reunion in July. We have ages 1-93 so I have to take the ages in consideration. We’ve had reunion at Ocean County Park for the past 5 years.

How wonderful! Two locations come to mind immediately. One is closer to you than the other. First, think about Monmouth Battlefield State Park. This preserved area represents one of the largest battles of the American Revolution. There are a variety of different events that take place there and you can get special event permits. There are plenty of great areas to explore and enjoy. You can also get permits for special events such as birthday parties and family gatherings.
